What is the maximum travel fork I can put on my bike?
A: Below is a fork compatibility guideline chart for recent vintage Iron Horse frame platforms. For each frame type is the Recommended Fork Travel that the frame was designed for to achieve published geometries and ideal performance. Additionally, we have included a Max Fork Travel guideline for each frame platform. Use of fork travel in excess of these published amounts can result in undesirable riding characteristics and potentially reduce frame life. Use of fork travel exceeding published guidelines can void frame warranties. Please consult this chart before installing any aftermarket forks.
